David Moyes, Ryan Giggs take part in Manchester United training
Manchester United manager David Moyes trained alongside Ryan Giggs this morning, amid reports that the two were at loggerheads.
Recent speculation had suggested that a senior player, rumoured to be Giggs, was involved in a bust-up with Moyes and some of his coaching staff following Sunday's 3-0 defeat by rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford.
However, 40-year-old Giggs, who is also a part of Moyes's coaching setup, has strongly denied any suggestions that he has fallen out with his boss.
Today, the duo were both present as the United squad went through their paces ahead of tomorrow's Champions League clash with Greek side Olympiacos.
The Red Devils must overturn a 2-0 deficit to advance through to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
Wayne Rooney dismayed by Manchester United defeat
Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has claimed that his team's 3-0 defeat to Liverpool ranks among his worst days ever in football.
The Red Devils were dismantled at Old Trafford on Sunday as they suffered their ninth loss of the season in the Premier League.
'It's one of the worst days I've ever had in football,' Rooney told MUTV. 'It's hard to take. You have to give Liverpool credit - they played well - but it's difficult to take.
'Nobody wants to lose, especially in this way, in your own stadium. It's not nice.'
The result has seen United remain in seventh place in the Premier League table, 18 points behind leaders Chelsea.
